With over two decades of experience—including 18 years as a STEM educator and my tenure as a Senior Instructional Designer at The Ohio State University—I have dedicated my career to moving the needle on learner performance. My work is defined by:

Innovation: I specialize in the "what’s next," from securing grants for VR/AR Leadership Immersion Labs to pioneering the first state-certified Middle School STEM program in Ohio.

Impact: I believe in measurable outcomes. Whether designing 30+ leadership courses or conducting the ELEVATE performance study, my goal is to transform specialized knowledge into high-impact digital experiences that stick.

Design Philosophy

I approach every project as a Learning Architect, ensuring that every digital interaction is accessible, inclusive, and grounded in the science of how adults learn. Whether I am partnering with global stakeholders or mentoring a team, my goal is to create "safe-to-fail" environments where learners can practice, iterate, and succeed.

Beyond the Design Studio

Outside of my professional practice, I am a dedicated family man and an advocate for an active, outdoor lifestyle. Whether I’m climbing, biking, or on a surfboard, I treat every challenge as a "learning lab." I carry the discipline of physical fitness and the clarity found in nature into my work, ensuring every learning solution I build is as grounded, resilient, and high-performing as the environments I explore.
